East Africa Highlights

1. Private camp sites:  We camp in the wild in the parks far away from other people and as close to the migration as possible. Our camps have no fences. We use Maasai warriors and armed park rangers for safety.

2. Small group expeditions: With a maximum of only 4 clients (with no singles surcharges), you are assured of the highest levels of personal service and care.

3.
Experienced Guides: Our Maasai driver-guides are some of the best in the business with many years of experience. They are assisted by park rangers who accompany our driver-guides as spotters on most game drives.

4.
Great vehicles: Our 4WD Landcruisers are adapted according to our own specifications. Pop-top roof, battery-charger, big windows, fridge, window seats for all 4 clients, and more.

5.
Affordable and cost-effective: To manage costs, we use our own "Adventure of the Migration" semi-luxury tented camps and safari vehicles. Our camps are light-weight and very mobile; we need only a small pickup truck to move the camp instead of large expensive lorries. These safaris are perfect for singles because we don't have surcharges.

6. Comfortable camps without the frills: Our semi-luxury camps have to be seen to fully appreciate! Walk-in tents, verandas with chairs, wide cots with thick foam mattresses, connected private bucket-showers and portable toilets with holding tanks to protect the environment. We have a fully-enclosed mess tent with fine dining and a complete bar! For images of our camps, visit here.

7.
Entertaining hosts:
An evening around the campfire with our Maasai partners and park rangers is always fun and full of surprises! You get exclusive insight into the joys of running a safari business. You learn about the Maasai lifestyle and the park rangers will share their underrated knowledge and passion for the wildlife in their care.

8.
Incredible itineraries: You benefit from our vast experience of the areas we visit. We offer two expeditions per year:

Early March - The Wildebeest Migration in the Southern Serengeti/Ngorongoro in Tanzania
Late August - The Wildebeest Migration in the Masai Mara in Kenya

9.
Exciting trip extensions
: We arrange extensions to Rwanda (Gorillas) and Zanzibar (beach and/or diving), or any other African destination of your choice!
